Granzella has announced that R-Type Tactics I・II Cosmos is now available on PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, alongside global release gifts and a soundtrack launch.
Granzella has confirmed the PC release of R-Type Tactics I・II Cosmos. The sci-fi tactical simulation game launched for PC on June 18, 2026 in North America and Europe, with the Japan release following on June 19, 2026 JST. The PC version is published by NIS America and is available through Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com.
The PC launch follows the game’s earlier release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S on March 12, 2026. With PC now included, Granzella says the game is available across all major platforms. A new trailer was also released to mark the PC launch.
To celebrate the global release, players can claim free in-game resources by entering passwords from the main menu. The gifts include Solonium ×150, Etherium ×150, and Bydogen ×150. Players need the latest version of the game and can redeem the gifts through Main Menu > Special > Gifts.
Granzella also announced that the R-Type Tactics I・II Cosmos soundtrack will launch on major music streaming platforms on June 19, 2026 JST. The soundtrack is priced at $9.37, with single tracks listed at $0.94.
