Elden Ring Tarnished Edition Opens Digital Preorders on Switch 2

Bandai Namco Entertainment America has opened digital preorders for ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition on Nintendo Switch 2. The publisher announced the preorder launch on June 10, 2026, positioning the new edition as the Switch 2 version of FromSoftware’s open-world action RPG.

Tarnished Edition includes the base ELDEN RING game, the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, new armor, and a new customization feature for Torrent’s appearance. Bandai Namco’s official game page lists Nintendo Switch 2 alongside PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms for ELDEN RING, while the new preorder news specifically focuses on the Switch 2 digital version.

The Switch 2 release is currently set for August 28, 2026. Bandai Namco also previously confirmed that the new Tarnished Edition content will be available separately for players on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

This announcement does not confirm a PC version of Tarnished Edition as a full bundled release, a physical preorder date, or regional pricing in the accessible source text. For now, the key confirmed update is that Switch 2 players can digitally preorder the edition before its late-August launch.
