Every platform. Every genre. Every player. Every maker.

🛠️ For developers
Build your game’s home base, grow a community, and spend less time on marketing. We’re game developers too, so these are the tools we wished we had: ones that let us make games without putting off marketing or fumbling our way through talking to players.
🎮 Create your game page
Think Steam or itch.io, with community built in. Share dev blogs, updates, DLC, trailers, and art. Players who follow your page hear when something new drops, so your audience grows organically and stays in touch.
🔓 Claim your page
Did an admin or a random stranger create your game’s page? Claim it, unlock it, and run it yourself.

⚡ One-click demos (partly built)
Players hit Play and jump straight in. No downloads, no “I’ll do it later.” We’re working on running smaller builds directly in the browser, so trying a new game, demo, or QA build takes no effort. Perfect for playtests and feedback.

🛍️ Marketplace (planned)
Sell physical discs of your game: switch it on, and when a gamer orders, we handle packaging and delivery. The same goes for merch like tees, caps, bags, fridge magnets, and desk toys. Upload your designs and we’ll take care of printing and shipping. Prefer to do it yourself? That works too.
🚀 Crowdfunding (we’ll build it if gamers vote for it)
Launch a campaign right where your community already follows you. Your backers know the game and the people behind it.
👥 Put your team in the spotlight
Give everyone who built the game a face and a name. Credits deserve better than 40 seconds of scrolling.

🕹️ For gamers
Keep your gaming life in one place, find your next favorite, and get to know the people behind the games you love.
📓 Journal your gaming journey
Track what you’ve played, what you thought, what’s next, and your all-time favorites. Find friends with a similar taste, too.
💚 Follow developers you love
Follow the people making your kind of games, not just the titles. Hear what they’re working on and how things were made, straight from them and first.
🧭 Find your taste
Discover games that fit what you actually like to play. Recommendations draw on your favorites, what players with similar taste enjoyed, and a few clever algorithms. No more scrolling through yet another “Top 20 Indies on Switch” list.
📚 Share your lists
Sharing a list of games you love is surprisingly hard right now. C0 fixes that: make a list, send it to friends or your stream, and let your taste be a flex. We’ve added plenty of features to make building and browsing lists more fun, with more on the way.
▶️ Zero Play
Quick access to games and demos, so you can try before you commit. Bored? Jump into a mini mission, a quick race, or a five-minute boss fight with simple controls. No hardware or time? You’re still playing, not watching someone else play.

🤝 For all of us
We love games, and we want to know who made them. Enjoy dev blogs from your favorite titles, see the work behind the final build, and meet the community that brings games to life.
For developers, that means less marketing grind. For gamers, it means finding great games by taste, keeping a library, and journaling what you’ve played.
The short story: Checkpointzero began in April 2020 with seven developers and designers, most of them game devs. It’s a love letter to the wild, wonderful community of gamers.
